Support Suicide Prevention: Help Secure Sponsors for the Out of the Darkness Walk
AFSP Minnesota is seeking Sponsorship Outreach Volunteers to help connect with local businesses for the Twin Cities Out of the Darkness Walk - Minnesota's largest suicide prevention event.
You'll help identify potential sponsors, reach out to community partners, and support efforts to secure in-kind donations like refreshments, supplies, and resources for Walk Day.
No fundraising experience needed - we'll train you!
What You'll Do:
- Research and contact potential businesses for sponsorship
- Track outreach and sponsorship progress
- Build relationships with returning sponsors
- Help secure in-kind donations (water, snacks, supplies, etc.)
Why This Role Matters:
Local sponsorships help us keep the Walk free, accessible, and meaningful for 2,000+ Minnesotans.
Time Commitment: Flexible, 2-4 hours/week. Hybrid meetings.
