European Christmas Market

The European Christmas Market (ECM) is proudly run by a dedicated team of event planners and board members who share a deep commitment to fostering a festive, inclusive, and culturally enriching holiday experience. Our nonprofit organization works tirelessly to create a space that celebrates European holiday traditions, embraces community, and spreads the joy of the season to all visitors. As a Volunteer you will be acting as a Holiday Spirit Ambassador and help to guide visitors, assist youth crafts, and support our vendors. There is something for everyone and your support is welcome, and greatly appreciated. 

The European Christmas Market is an annual event held in Saint Paul that brings together young and old to enjoy the magic and charm of the holiday season. Now in our 13th year, more than 80 vendors offer their cultural wares against the backdrop of the Saint Paul skyline, celebrating the traditional holiday markets of Europe. Performers,  food vendors, and Gleuwine saturate the ambiance with sights, smells, flavors and sounds, immersing visitors in the full European Christmas experience. We have extended our event to 5 weekends, (Friday-Sunday) between Nov. 20th and Dec. 20th, and expect nearly 250,000 visitors in 2026.
