Help families enjoy the Kids’ Craft Area during the later part of the market day and help us get everything safely tucked away and ready for the next day. You do not need to be an artist or experienced craft instructor. A friendly, helpful attitude and willingness to keep the space organized are what matter most!
Responsibilities include:
- Welcoming families and assisting with craft activities.
- Restocking and organizing supplies as needed.
- Keeping craft tables and the surrounding area clean and orderly.
- Helping manage the flow of guests through the space.
- Cleaning and organizing the craft area at the end of the day.
- Returning supplies, materials, signs, and equipment to their designated locations.
- Turning off lights, signs, and designated displays.
- Making sure the area is secure, tidy, and prepared for the following market day.
Closing duties may involve lifting or moving items weighing approximately 30–50 pounds. Volunteers who are unable to lift this amount are absolutely welcome to participate; simply communicate with our team so we can divide closing tasks appropriately.
