So are we! Help us get our residents at Project for Pride in Living (PPL) via National Night Out!
We are looking for an energetic volunteer with strong collaboration and people skills to support the Policy Committee to get our participants, residents, and community members to register to vote. Engage with community members and help people register to vote!
Training: July 31st
Date of volunteer opportunity: August 1st and/or August 3rd
Responsibilities:
Attend a training on July 31st (at PPL or virtually)!
Engage with PPL residents
Supporting PPL’s mission to get folks knowledge around voting areas and getting registered to vote.
Supporting community members who regained the right to vote from Restore the Vote.
Attending community events to distribute flyers.
Qualifications
PPL is nonpartisan nonprofit, as a volunteer you are opting in being nonpartisan as well.
Welcoming and engaging in community.
Physical Demands
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by a volunteer to successfully perform the essential functions of the job. While performing the duties of this volunteer opportunity, the volunteer is regularly required to sit, bend, and communicate. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 10-25 pounds. Able to get to PPL housing on your own.
