Description

Help erase hunger in the community! Join us and help get food and supplies to our community elders.

Impact: Every month, our volunteers get food to more than 85 community members in need. We pack and deliver fruit, veggies, protein, milk (including non-dairy options) and more. You can be part of our effort to help folks gain access to much-needed groceries.

When: Our next monthly grocery day is Thursday, February 24th.

Shifts: Volunteers can help pack groceries from 10am to 12:30pm. Or help with deliveries starting at 12:30pm. You can also choose to volunteer for the whole event!  Both groups and individuals are welcome to volunteer.  We welcome groups of all sizes who would like to volunteer together!

Delivering groceries is fun – and can be a very low contact activity. Using your own vehicle, you deliver packed groceries to folks in the area. We break up our delivery list so that each person should be able to complete their deliveries in about an hour – and there’s no need to enter anyone’s home. Training is included!

Lunch: Lunch will be included for all who volunteer. Please bring a water bottle and wear comfortable clothes!

Where: 463 Maria Avenue, St. Paul, MN 55106. Our location is accessible by public transportation and there is also plenty of parking available.

How to start: To get started, you can fill out the interest form here or head to our website and fill our quick and easy application. From there, one of our team members will email you to confirm your availability and give you more details about volunteering.
