Who We Are
East Side Elders is a non-profit community based service organization which operates with the financial support of our community, private and public agencies and foundations, local churches, neighbors and friends. We collaborate with community members and organizations to create and maintain resources to help seniors overcome barriers to remain living in their homes.
Our mission is to create a circle of care around the elders in Dayton’s Bluff and Payne-Phalen neighborhoods, empowering seniors to live safely and independently in their homes.
What We Do
Volunteer opportunities include providing much-needed rides to seniors, volunteering in our Wellness Clinics, making friendly visits and check-in calls, helping with outdoor chores, and more.
