We are excited to be hosting our annual Back to School success program! Though there remains a great deal of uncertainty surrounding school openings this fall, it is critical that children are given quality school supplies in order to be successful in the new school year. We are seeking individuals and groups to help us organize and sort through our school supplies, set up our event, and help be a part of it.
Between 8/17-8/20, we are seeking volunteers who will help us organize and sort through all the school supplies we receive from the community. We are offering 2-3 hour shifts for groups between 9:00AM-5:00PM onsite with us.
On 8/25, we will take time in the evening to set up the event. We will need a group of volunteers between 4:00PM-6:30PM to make the Back to School magic possible.
Lastly, we need volunteers for the event! The event will be from 11:00AM-7:00PM on 8/26, and 10:00AM-5:00PM on 8/27. We will need 7 volunteers for each 2-3 hour shift depending on the day. Volunteers will help us escort participants to the event, staff our school supplies stations, and help restock supplies throughout the day. Volunteers who are with us in the evening on 8/27 may help us with cleaning up the event.
This is a great volunteer opportunity for families, friend groups and corporate groups. Children are welcome! If your work place or ministry is looking for a service activity, we'd love to have you with us.
