Hope for the Journey Home Family Shelter is a place of hospitality providing up to 7 families at a time temporary emergency shelter while permanent housing is sought. Volunteers provide a welcoming presence to families while serving dinner, and or serving as an overnight host.
Pick up and deliver a hot breakfast donated by IHop restaurant Saturday or Sunday mornings. Pick up IHOP breakfast packed in a lightweight insulated bag Saturday or Sunday mornings at 7:45am on 10th Street in Oakdale. Deliver to shelter 2 miles away and return bag to IHop restaurant. This is a no contact with family guests.
