Purpose:
To provide sensory and emotional stimulation, relaxation, and pain- relief by assisting with the preparation of the lotion mixed onsite and used throughout our care center.
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize equipment to be used in process before and after as needed.
- Measure quantities of oils to be added to large batches of lotion as per recipes provided.
- Thoroughly mix lotions and prepare them for use in care center
- Deliver to different households.
- Keep inventory of household needs as well as an inventory of supplies, alert staff when supplies need to be ordered.
Qualifications and Required Skills
- Passion for wellness and essential oils!
- Some experience mixing lotion is preferred, not mandatory.
- Provide positive customer service while interacting with a variety of different personalities.
- A caring and cheerful attitude.
- Ability to abide to our no solicitation policy.
Time Commitment and Availability
This opportunity could be as few as two times a year and as much as monthly, depending of the level of commitment that the volunteer has. Lotions will most likely need to be mixed on-site once every 3-6 months.
