Looking for a fun and meaningful way to volunteer this holiday?
Longfellow/Seward Healthy Seniors is holding their annual Holiday Party for Seniors and is looking for volunteers to help with all aspects of the party. Nearly 200 seniors from South Minneapolis attend this Holiday Party each year, to enjoy free entertainment, food and gifts!
As a volunteer for the Holiday Party, you will be asked to do one or more of the following: greet seniors as they arrive, register seniors at the registration table, help seniors fill out registration forms, re-stock the food table, direct the food line, assist seniors using walkers by helping them dish their food and carrying their plate to their table, take photographs, distribute gifts to seniors at the “gift table,” assist as a parking attendant, kitchen detail, floaters and clean-up.
All volunteers will receive refreshments, a meal, and holiday treats. The Holiday Party will take place on Tuesday, December 18, 2018, at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, in the basement, located at 2730 E 31st St. Minneapolis, MN 55406. Parking is on the street.
