Help us start the day ready for families! Kids’ Craft Area volunteers help create a welcoming, organized, and fun space where children and families can enjoy holiday crafts throughout the market. You do not need to be an artist or experienced craft instructor. A friendly, helpful attitude and willingness to keep the space organized are what matter most!
Opening shift responsibilities include:
- Setting up and organizing craft tables, supplies, signage, and activity areas.
- Turning on lights, signs, and other designated displays.
- Making sure each craft station is stocked and ready for guests.
- Welcoming families and helping children access the supplies they need.
- Keeping tables and the surrounding area clean, safe, and organized.
- Restocking craft materials throughout the shift.
- Helping manage the flow of families through the craft area.
- Communicating important information and supply needs to the volunteer taking over the next shift.
Opening duties may involve lifting or moving items weighing approximately 30–50 pounds. Volunteers who are unable to lift this amount are still welcome! Please communicate with our team so we can assign tasks that work for you. Most importantly, bring a friendly attitude and help us create a warm, creative holiday experience for our youngest market guests and their families.
