Agate's Welcome Center offers a reliable, safe space for people experiencing unsheltered homelessness to connect with our teams. Anyone can visit for basic needs: shelter from weather, bathroom access, device charging, water, snacks, and clothing items like shoes and socks. It serves as both a resource hub and a bridge—connecting individuals to the tools, services, and support they need to move from homelessness to stability. Learn more at agatemn.org/homelessness.
We've recently partnered with The Sandwich Project MN to accept signups for 200-400 PB & J sandwiches for our Welcome Center visitors!
Instructions:
- Purchase the supplies to make at least 200 PB & J sandwiches
- Make the sandwiches at your own location
- Sign up and deliver the sandwiches to us! (Mondays 11-12)
This is a great opportunity to do with friends, family, faith groups, or corporations!
