About the 2026 IWLA National Conference
In July 2026, the Minnesota Division of the IWLA will proudly host the National Convention in Bloomington, Minnesota. More than 300 representatives from across the country will gather to celebrate conservation achievements, exchange ideas, and shape the future of environmental stewardship in America.
About the Host Committee
The Minnesota Division’s Host Committee leads the planning and coordination of this national event, supported by volunteer teams specializing in technology, marketing, logistics, hospitality, sustainability, and youth engagement. Each volunteer helps create a seamless, mission-driven experience for attendees and participants.
Your Role: Digital Support Specialist
As a Digital Support Specialist, you will help ensure that conference technology runs smoothly for participants and volunteers alike. You’ll assist with digital registration systems, app support, and online help-desk requests, helping attendees stay informed and connected before and during the event. Your work will help make the digital experience of the conference smooth, accessible, and enjoyable.
Responsibilities include:

Providing assistance to users navigating the event app and registration platform.

Answering attendee questions and resolving login or access issues.

Testing digital tools and ensuring accuracy of displayed information.

Supporting the Technology Team with troubleshooting and live updates during the event.

Helping document common support issues and recommended fixes.
Time Commitment:

Light involvement through 2025, averaging 2–3 hours per month remotely.

Increased activity from May to July 2026 as registration and app engagement rise.

Onsite participation encouraged during the third week of July 2026 in Bloomington, Minnesota, to assist with digital help desk and attendee support.
Ideal for:
Volunteers who are organized, patient, and comfortable working with basic technology and customer support. A background in digital tools or event tech is welcome but not required.
