Who We Are
Who We Are
The Minnesota Division of the Izaak Walton League of America (IWLA) is part of one of the nation’s oldest and most respected conservation organizations. Across the country, the League’s 40,000 members work through community-based chapters to defend soil, air, woods, waters, and wildlife.
Here in Minnesota, the Division connects and supports local chapters across the state, serving as the unifying network for members committed to protecting Minnesota’s natural resources. With more than a century of legacy and leadership, we stand at the intersection of grassroots action and statewide conservation policy.
In July 2026, the Minnesota Division will proudly host the IWLA National Convention in Bloomington, Minnesota. This event will welcome over 300 representatives from 40,000 members nationwide to celebrate conservation achievements and set the course for the League’s next century of impact.
