About Us
The Minnesota Valley Chapter of the Izaak Walton League is a 100% volunteer-run community of conservationists, creatives, and nature lovers. We steward native acreage along the Minnesota River and run programs like the nationally recognized Green Crew youth leadership initiative, the Kouba Gallery, and the Young IKE podcast. Together, we protect nature, build community, and have fun doing it.
The Opportunity
If you love storytelling and connecting with people, become our Volunteer Orientation Host! You’ll lead brief sessions that introduce new volunteers to our mission, history, and opportunities to make a difference.
What You’ll Do

Lead monthly or bi-monthly orientation sessions.

Share the story of the Minnesota Valley Chapter and its programs.

Inspire volunteers to find their best fit in our community.
What We’re Looking For

Friendly, confident speaker or facilitator.

Enthusiastic about conservation and community service.

About 1–2 hours per session, in person or on Zoom.
