About Us
The Minnesota Valley Chapter of the Izaak Walton League is a 100% volunteer-run community of conservationists, creatives, and nature lovers. We steward native acreage along the Minnesota River and run programs like the nationally recognized Green Crew youth leadership initiative, the Kouba Gallery, and the Young IKE podcast. Together, we protect nature, build community, and have fun doing it.
The Opportunity
We’re looking for a friendly and patient Onboarding & Training Coordinator to help new volunteers feel confident and prepared. This is a great role for someone who enjoys welcoming people and helping them succeed.
What You’ll Do

Host short one-on-one or small group onboarding sessions.

Share information about the Chapter’s mission and safety practices.

Keep our orientation materials up to date.

Connect new volunteers with project leaders.
What We’re Looking For

Friendly, helpful, and good at explaining things clearly.

Comfortable using Zoom or meeting in person.

About 2–4 hours per month, flexible schedule.
