Who We Are
At Emma Norton, we believe housing is a human right. All of our programs embrace evidence-based practices, Housing First and Harm Reduction, in our delivery of care. We recognize the critical importance of a stable place to live, eliminating restrictions on the length of stay, and meeting clients where the are at on their own journey of recovery. Over the past 100 years, Emma Norton has grown from a safe place to sleep to a supportive sanctuary for healing and personal growth, with mental health services and supports integrated throughout all programs and activities.
What We Do
Emma Norton provides transformational housing to women, individuals, and families on their journey of recovery. Each year, we provide permanent housing and support to more than 300 individuals and families who have experienced homelessness with the additional challenge of mental illness, chemical dependency, or physical disability.
