**About Us:** Windfall Equine Therapy Center is a newly established nonprofit organization, founded in June 2024, dedicated to providing equine-assisted learning and therapy to foster and adopted children as well as veterans. Our mission is to partner equine and mental health professionals with the unique gifts of the horse to offer hope, healing, compassion, confidence and strength to veterans and underprivileged children. Through horsemanship, our facilitators help to identify and improve an individual’s struggles with trust, mindfulness, empathy as well as communication and leadership skills.
**Role Overview:** We are seeking a passionate and experienced volunteer to develop a two-pronged marketing strategy that will help us connect with two critical audiences: (1) volunteers, donors, and stakeholders, and (2) clients who can benefit from our services. This role is essential in ensuring we reach those who can support our mission as well as those who need our programs.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- **Research & Analysis:** Conduct market research to understand the needs and motivations of both target audiences, identify key trends, and analyze competitors in the nonprofit and therapy sectors.
- **Strategy Development:** Create a detailed two-pronged marketing strategy: - **For Volunteers, Donors, and Stakeholders:** Develop a plan to increase awareness, engagement, and support from individuals and organizations who can contribute time, resources, or funding. - **For Clients (Foster and Adopted Children and Veterans):** Design a targeted approach to reach potential clients and their families, focusing on communicating the benefits of our equine-assisted programs.
- **Branding:** Assist in defining and refining our brand identity, ensuring it resonates with both target audiences.
- **Content Planning:** Develop a content calendar that outlines planned marketing activities for each audience, including key themes, messages, and campaign schedules.
- **Digital Marketing:** Recommend and outline strategies for social media, email marketing, SEO, and online advertising tailored to each audience's unique needs and preferences.
- **Partnership Development:** Identify potential partnerships with organizations, businesses, and influencers that can help reach both volunteers/donors and clients.
- **Performance Metrics:** Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to track the success of each prong of the marketing strategy and provide regular reports to the leadership team.
**Qualifications:** - Experience in marketing, particularly in the nonprofit sector, with a strong understanding of digital and traditional marketing channels. - Proven ability to develop and implement marketing strategies for diverse audiences. - Strong research, analytical, and strategic thinking skills. - Familiarity with branding and content creation. - Ability to work independently and as part of a team. - Passion for our mission and a desire to make a positive impact on the lives of foster and adopted children and veterans.
