Work closely in a small team of 6-8 as you converse and get our storage areas in shape! Volunteers will follow directions to sort & move boxes of records with Wilder’s Economic Stability & Aging Services. Boxes need to be organized by date and old records can be taken out to the shredding truck. You're welcome to sign up as an individual, pair or small group.
This will be a physical role with lifting, carrying, bending, and standing involved. Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds. The project would also be a great match for folks who like organizing items and for people with attention to detail when reviewing dates. This project will leave you feeling accomplished as you see the space transform from the start of the shift to the end!
Impact: We would like to start our new fiscal year off with more organized and cleaned up storage closets. Volunteer support will help us ensure our file storage follows record retention processes and does not take up limited space with old records. Many hands make light work!
Volunteer Request: Seeking a group of 6-8 volunteers who are all age 18+. Must be available for a 4-hour shift on June 24 from 9am-1pm.
