Help our English as a second language class with reading, discussion, and English vocabulary! If enriching the lives of people in your community sounds like something you are interested in, please volunteer! Metro North ABE provides support for all volunteers, and we have amazing teachers who provide support, direction, and materials.
- No degree or experience needed! Training is provided, and you will be under the guidance of a teacher who creates lesson plans
- Volunteer with small groups of motivated adult learners
- English speakers of all levels are welcome
- Must be 18 to volunteer
- We strongly encourage people of color, indigenous, immigrants and refugees, LGBTQ+, people with disabilities, and bilingual people to apply
Our openings are online:
Tuesday through Thursday from 9:30 to 12:30
OR
Tuesdays afternoons 1:00 to 4:00.
