Position Summary:

The Family Services Desk Volunteer will work closely with the Volunteer Manager and Family Services to provide the following:

• Greet families as they arrive.
• Engage in play with children and interact with caregivers in the family reception area.
• Provide a child friendly environment for children before support group therapy.
• Assist caregivers in watching their children during support group therapy.

Time Commitment:

One shift per week minimum

Shifts are Tuesday 5 PM to 7 PM

6-month commitment desired

Responsibilities and Qualifications:

1. Must be over 18 years of age
2. Experienced in Word, Excel & Power Point
3. Detail Oriented
4. Ability to communicate effectively
5. Work well in a team and individually
6. Ability to maintain confidentiality and strong interpersonal boundaries
7. Ability to be flexible
8. Comply with all program policies and procedures of CornerHouse
