Description

At Animal Humane Society, our mission is to engage the hearts, hands, and minds of the community to help animals.

Community Outreach Tabling Attendant Volunteers team up with Animal Humane Society Community Outreach Liaisons (paid staff) to represent and raise awareness of AHS at various neighborhood and community tabling events. Regular events include:

  • Vaccine clinics: Weekly Vaccine Clinics are available at senior centers and apartment complexes in the community.
  • Produce fairs: These events distribute fresh produce to the community.
  • Festivals: Participation in special events such as Fiesta Latina, PRIDE, and Uniquely Eastside, just to name a few!
  • Volunteer recruitment events: The events are at high schools, colleges and universities in the Twin Cities area.
