Description

Do you love animals? Interested in helping families and pets stay together?  At Animal Humane Society, our mission is to engage the hearts, hands, and minds of the community to help animals. Our Veterinary Centers work to reduce animal homelessness by providing high quality, low cost veterinary services for pets and people in the community.

Vet Center Facility Care Volunteers support the Veterinary Center by ensuring kennels and cages are clean, and set up for animals.  This includes laundry, dishes, and common areas are welcoming and tidy. You will also assist with general observations post-procedures and report any changes in animal behavior to the veterinary staff.  Volunteers are integral in fulfilling Animal Humane Society’s mission by engaging with the community and providing access to affordable veterinary care to clients.

We have shifts Monday through Saturday for 2-3 hours between 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. We appreciate if you can donate your time for a minimum of two shifts a month.
