We’re on the lookout for dedicated and enthusiastic volunteers to help us make the annual Fraser Gala a night to remember! This year, get in the game with our Candy Land theme, at a new location, the Renaissance Minneapolis Hotel, The Depot, on Fri., Nov. 3, 2023.
Our Gala is not just an event; it's an opportunity to come together, create lasting memories, and support a cause that truly makes a difference in the lives of those we serve. No prior experience is necessary, and we welcome volunteers of all skill levels. Our experienced team leads will provide guidance and support throughout the process.
Here's how you can get involved:
1. Live Auction and Fund a Need (6pm-8:30pm): As either a spotter or recorder, your primary responsibility is to assist our auctioneer during the live auction portion of our Gala. You will work closely to ensure that each bid is accurately recorded, and winning bidders are promptly identified. This role requires a keen eye for detail and excellent communication skills.
2. Merchandise Packing and Checkout (6:30pm-close) : As a Merchandise Packing and Checkout Assistant, your role is to assist with packing and distributing merchandise to Gala attendees who have made purchases. Your role ensures that guests leave our event with their purchased items in an efficient and organized manner. This role requires attention to detail, excellent customer service skills.
