WHAT IS CIRCLE OF PARENTS?
Circle of Parents groups are peer-led, mutual self-help, support groups that support parent partnership, shared leadership, and resilient communities. These groups allow parents to connect with other parents and exchange parenting ideas. Childrens' groups are also available concurrently, where children can increase social skills.
WHAT IS THE ROLE OF A FACILITATOR?
FamilyWise is seeking facilitators for both our parent and childrens' groups. Facilitators of the parent group ensure the conversation remains non-judgmental and continues to promote positive parenting practices. The
children's group facilitators watches the children and helps create a fun, safe, and educational environment.
