Want to volunteer but don't have much time? Become a volunteer for Help At Your Door!
In 1-2 hours per week while volunteering from your home or workplace, you can build ongoing relationships and help older adults to stay in their home. You choose the day and time and we'll match you with clients who fit that schedule. Call to check on client's well-being and take their grocery orders over the phone. Grocery items are entered into an online ordering system on your computer.
We're looking for volunteers who love seniors and who have a good degree of comfort on the computer. Knowledge of grocery products a plus. Please note that you must reside somewhere in the U.S. for this role due to required background checks. You must also have access to a computer in order to use the online ordering site.
We will plan on meeting via Zoom for this training. If you are unable to attend this session but would like to know about other training dates, please let us know!
