Join our Waste Reduction Team and help us ensure the festival is clean, green, and environmentally sustainable! As a volunteer, you'll play a critical role in preserving the beauty and health of our community by helping to manage the waste generated during the festival.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with the set-up and maintenance of waste stations throughout the festival site
- Monitor waste stations to ensure proper sorting and disposal of trash and recyclables
- Help keep the festival site clean and free of litter
- Assist with any other environmental initiatives or tasks as needed
This is a great opportunity for anyone passionate about sustainability and making a positive impact on the environment. As a volunteer, you'll have the chance to connect with like-minded individuals, gain valuable skills and experience, and contribute to a cleaner, greener future.
The first shift will be in charge of helping with setup and the last shift will be responsible for helping with clean up. There is one shift that is the full 12 hours. In accepting that shift, you are stating you will be available the whole day to help with waste reduction.
Food and drinks will be provided for all volunteers.
