Mitchell Hamline School of Law is recruiting in-person volunteers for mock trials on Saturday, March 18, 2023.
Volunteer jurors should arrive at Mitchell Hamline School of Law located at 875 Summit Avenue, St. Paul between 8:30 and 8:45 a.m. for a light breakfast prior to the beginning.
Jurors may park along the street and will enter the double doors nearest Summit Avenue where the flagpole is located.
To enter the building, jurors may need to use the callbox/telephone device at the main entrance to call the security desk for admittance.
However, the front entrance may be temporarily unlocked when jurors approach.
All jurors are required to check-in at the front desk and acknowledge a set of COVID-related screening questions. Jurors do NOT need to provide proof of vaccination.
The trial begins at 9:00 a.m. and ends at 1:00 p.m.
The trial requires jurors to deliberate on a verdict, announce the verdict, and offer constructive feedback to the participants.
There will be signs directing jurors to the appropriate rooms.
Breakfast and lunch are catered.
