Special Olympics Minnesota's Regional Metro Basketball competition is being held on April 15 and we are looking for volunteers to help make the day happen! We hope to see you there!
No basketball experience? No problem! A detailed training is given at the beginning of each shift. You're welcome to sign up for any of the following roles:
- General Event Support: Check in and welcome athletes, teams, and volunteers.
- Basketball Skills Assistant:
- Run and score one of our three skills stations for athletes competing as an individual.
- Score Table: Update scores and manage time on video scoreboard.
- Confirm rosters before games with coaches on both teams.
- Awards Assistants: Organize and prepare awards for athletes.
