For over 40 years, Loaves & Fishes has been where the need is greatest. As Minnesota’s largest free restaurant, we are proud to provide healthy, dignified meals to those who need them most.
We’re currently looking for individuals and small groups to join us at our Peace House Community meal site (Monday–Friday afternoons and evenings) to package and serve to-go meals. No experience needed—our welcoming site coordinator will guide you through everything you need to know.
Volunteer Roles Include:
-
Cooking & Meal Prep
Help prepare a pre-planned meal and package it for distribution, under the direction of our site coordinator. -
Serving & Cleanup
Assist with packaging and distributing meals, dishwashing, and cleaning up during and after the meal service.
What to Bring:
We supply gloves and aprons. If you don’t have a hat, we’ll provide a hairnet. Please wear closed-toe shoes and clothing with sleeves that cover your shoulders.
