Hospital Concierge
Works in collaboration with Welcome Ambassador volunteers and Guest Service staff to greet and escort visitors coming to the hospital. With an eye for customer service, Hospital Concierges provide a caring and comforting atmosphere for visitors. They treat every person with respect, concern, and hospitality regardless of race, ethnicity, gender, or sociological background.
PPE: surgical mask, eye shield only when transporting patients
Job Duties:
- Provides excellent customer service at all times
- Ability to assist customers/guest with specific requests and solve problems using independent judgment and discretion.
- Escorts visitors throughout the hospital
- Instructs visitors on infection control when entering/leaving patient rooms
- Supports Outpatient pharmacy by making delivery runs to the Ritchie Day Surgery building
- Patient deliveries (flower/gifts)
- Corral/sanitize wheelchairs
- Transport patients to/from imaging procedures on main floor
- Sanitize high touch surfaces in main lobby waiting area
Wanted Qualities:
- Customer service minded
- Self-directed
- Adept at smizing (smiling with your eyes)
- Able to learn thorough knowledge of hospital
This position requires walking/standing for majority of shift, pushing wheelchairs, and carrying bulky item, such as, flowers.
