Ok team, this one is on a weekday and it's gonna be a an outdoor adventure! We will sort, pack and hand out fresh produce to families- all outdoors in a parking garage. I will be there running in circles to stay warm and providing extra hand warmer packs, plus encouragement :)
Upside: very covid safe, great team building, direct interaction with community utilizing this service.
Appropriate for any older kids who like the cold and are accompanied by an adult.
A bit about Neighborhood House: they serve refugees and new immigrants to help them put down roots, contribute to their new community and thrive. Neighborhood House works with more than fifty ethnic populations and has been doing this since 1897!!
