As a United Hospital Volunteer you will make a difference in your community. Whether you are greeting patients and visitors to the hospital, interacting with patients in the Emergency Department, or assisting in the Gift Shop, you leave a lasting impression.
This is a great opportunity for former healthcare workers, who miss the hustle and bustle of hospitals and patient interaction.
General requirements:
- Complete online orientation and post quiz
- Clean background check (18 and over)
- Health immunization test
- Annual flu shot (exemptions made on a case by case situation)
- Work a minimum of one three hour shift a week and commit to at least 60 hours
Benefits:
- Flexible schedule. Shifts are three hours with opportunities available Monday-Sunday.
- Volunteers receive $7 meal and free parking.
