4-H is a nonprofit organization with the U of M Extension that helps kids in grades k to one year past high school to develop the following skills: public speaking, team work, problem solving, communication, leadership and more through hands on learning. With COVID-19 still present, all of our learning sessions are done completely virtual and through zoom. We are currently planning out our program offerings for the Fall and Winter months ahead of us.
Hennepin County 4-H would like to offer career exploration opportunities to youth in grades 6-13 with professionals during the month of November. The role model would be doing 1 out of 4 sessions in the month of November.
We are currently looking for role models within one of the following fields: Medical, Sports, Construction, or Arts to provide a 1 hour session that consists of 20-30 minutes of career presentation, 15 minutes of Q&A and 10-20 minutes of games/activities for youth in grades 6-12 via Zoom.
