Our Summer Youth Program is shifting online in response to COVID-19. We will continue to provide a fun experience for youth to engage in summer activities that develop skills they need to succeed in school. Youth will receive kits that guide them in activities. The program theme will change weekly and will include a variety of activities focused on STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics), arts, and literacy. Volunteers assist staff in providing these fun learning activities in program kits that are delivered directly to participant’s homes.
Volunteers are needed to:
Thursday shifts- Sort and pack activities into kits for three different age groups onsite at The Wellstone Center
Friday shifts- Assist staff with delivery of kits
Shifts happen on Thursdays (10-11:30am) and Fridays, 10am-2pm (shifts may get done earlier depending on numbers of kits to be assembled/delivered).
