Upper Midwest Great Dane Rescue still has an opening on the Fundraising Team for Event Coordinators in Minnesota, Iowa, North Dakota, South Dakota, and Wisconsin!!
Due to the fact that the rescue covers five different states, we would love to have 1-2 coordinators in every state.
So far UMDGR has raised $21,000 in 2019 due to local events - which is INCREDIBLE. We think we can do even more next year, but we NEED YOUR HELP!
So.... if you have imagination, love talking to people and want to help spread the message about UMGDR - then this might be the job for you!

Responsibilities
- Works with Director of Fundraising to Set-Up and Run Events
- Researches new potential event locations and ideas. Communicates directly with the Director of Fundraising on ideas.
- Works with Local Venues to Establish Dates, Locations, etc.
- Communicates all event information and expectations to UMGDR volunteers.
- Coordinates event materials (i.e. tables, chairs, merchandise, donation containers, etc,)
- Completes Event Receipt and submits to UMGDR along with all donations accepted at an event.
Requirements
- Internet and phone access on a daily basis
- Available to check email at least once daily, unless other circumstances prevent this (such as vacations, internet outage, etc.)
- Strong attention to detail
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
