Description

Want to help children across the Twin Cites Metro learn about disability awareness and bullying prevention? Volunteer to be a PACER Puppeteer!

Our two puppet programs, COUNT ME IN and KIDS AGAINST BULLYING, offer an opportunity to promote a positive message, learn a unique style of puppetry and improve their presentation skills while working with a fun team.  Volunteers must have some daytime availability (about 4-5 hrs. a month), reliable transportation, the ability to memorize a script, and the desire engage with children!

If this is you, we’d love to hear from you!

Download the Puppeteer volunteer form here or for more information, email puppets@pacer.org

Here’s what PACER volunteer puppeteers are saying:

"I have loved doing the shows. It has been fun and helps keep me connected to the energy and thinking of youth."

"Being a puppeteer has been more rewarding than I expected. It's great to be a part of a program that has such an important message."
