Bucket Beats with HopewellMusic is a new series of events that will be part of a monthly outreach campaign. One of our teachers will be hosting a bucket drum demo that Northside youth can participate in if they choose. The idea is to introduce them to music in a casual, non-intimidating setting. During the month of January, we will be at Webber Library. Volunteers interested in this opportunity will be required to undergo a volunteer background screening beforehand. We need 2 volunteers to run an information table, details on what that means are below:
Bring supplies from school to event location and back
Set up and tear down information table
Hand out brochures to event guests
Answer questions about Hopewell, its mission, its class and lesson programs, and its community initiatives
Get as many people as possible to sign up to be on the email list
Refer people asking about taking lessons to the lessons email
Hand out pencils and other small cute freebies
Report any issues or concerns to the Outreach Coordinator or on site point person
