Boys & Girls Clubs of the Twin Cities would like to invite you to participate in our annual “Kids Can Give” holiday gift drive.
“Kids Can Give” ensures all Club members have a joyous holiday season as they partake in the act of giving. Each December, Club members are asked to give a small $3-5 donation that will support a youth-driven holiday celebration at each Club. In return, each young person is able to shop for gifts for their families in the “Kids Can Give” holiday stores set up at each Boys & Girls Club. The holiday stores are filled with gifts that have been donated from community members and organizations.
It is an incredible experience for all involved to see the excitement in our kids as they think of their loved ones and shop for special holiday gifts. Gifts are wrapped on-site with the help of staff and volunteers and are sent home with the kids just in time for the holidays.
As a volunteer, you can provide support at the holiday store hosted by each Club site. Support may include: helping youth shop for their families, wrapping gifts, and participating in holiday activities at each Club site. You can also help by collecting gifts at your place of business until December 13th, or by donating wrapping paper and gift bags.
Club holiday stores will be open Wednesday, December 18th, through Friday, December 20th. If you are interested in volunteering at a Club holiday store or collecting and donating a gift(s) to be placed in a holiday store, please contact:
