Do you want to change lives through school supplies? If so, come volunteer at our Resource Center for our Supplies on a Saturday Community Volunteer Event! This will be our last event for the season! We will start these events back up in the Spring :)
Our mission at Kids In Need Minnesota is to ensure that every child is prepared to learn and succeed in the classroom and we do that by providing free school supplies to students most in need in Minnesota.
At this volunteer event, you'll have the chance to learn about our mission, get a tour of our Resource Center and participate in a volunteer activity along with your family, friends and community members. We also encourage all of our volunteers to bring along a donation of NEW school supplies to keep our center stocked and full for teachers throughout the Metro. Our "School Supply of the Month" for September is all new school supplies!
For this event, we do have a limit of 25 volunteers, so sign up fast! To make sure you're registered, please mark "Going" on our event tab, and email our Volunteer and Community Engagement Coordinator, Brittany, at brittanys@kinf.org to ensure a spot. You're also welcome to send us a Facebook message.
Children as young as 5 are welcome with their parents. Please wear comfortable clothing and closed toed shoes as we'll be working in a warehouse setting. When arriving, please pull around to the back of our warehouse and come in the doors marked "Teachers Entrance".
