Position Summary:
The volunteer Aide primarily serves patients and/or staff providing direct patient care.
As a volunteer Physical Therapy Aide, you will be serving patients and/or staff providing direct patient care. Your tasks will include visiting with patients, assisting with patient care under the direction of a therapist, transporting patients, stocking supplies, cleaning surfaces, and assisting with light clerical tasks.
This is a great opportunity for anyone interested in deepening their knowledge and experience in Physical Therapy. Preference given to those who are currently students in PT, or looking to apply to an PT program. You will help with the daily flow of this busy hospital, working closely with staff. No experience necessary.
This role will be 4 hours once per week.
