Description

Help At Your Door, a nonprofit serving seniors, is in need of volunteer grocery deliverers and drivers.

Volunteer grocery helpers will pick up orders from our grocery partner in Oakdale and spend an hour or two delivering to clients in the east Metro on Wednesday mornings.  Volunteers will typically deliver to the same clients each time to foster ongoing connections.

Volunteer drivers transport clients to weekday appointments and errands using their personal vehicle.  Most drivers give a couple of rides each month, on a schedule of their choosing.

Learn more at an orientation session being held on Wednesday, April 24 at the Sun Ray Library, 2105 Wilson Ave in St Paul.  Grocery Helpers training will run from 10 to 11 a.m., with volunteer driver training to follow from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.   Register for one or both sessions, depending upon your interests.

RSVP by Monday, April 22 to Carolyn at volunteer@helpatyourdoor.org or call 763-231-3117.  If you are unable to attend but would like to learn more about these roles, contact Carolyn for more details.
