Many of our families are unable to give their children the kind of holiday we take for granted. By "adopting" a family for the holiday, you can bring joy to a family in need and feel good inside.

November 12-16
Each family’s wish list will be sent out to sponsors.
November 19 - November 23
Shop and wrap all gifts and label them with each individual’s name but leave the "from" blank. The average dollar amount spent per individual is $50.
December 3 - 7
Drop off wrapped gifts at FamilyWise’s Main Office at 3036 University Ave SE in Minneapolis between 8:00 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Saturday.
Other Opportunities
- An Extra Gift: While your sponsorship is gift enough, we also welcome financial contributions to sustain our nonprofit as we organize and deilver toys, coats, and other presents to families. You can donate on the day you drop off your gifts or on our website anytime before or after. Consider sharing this opportunity with the others in your group, as we have seen many groups make fundraising part of their collection drive or vovlunteer experience. While any amount helps, a $50 gift will go a long way in supporting the Adopt-a-Family campaign and ensuring that FamilyWise can be a steadying force in families' lives for holidays to come.
- Sponsor a Program Party for Participants: Our First Step Early Childhood Education Center's party will be during lunchtime during the regular programming hours in December. Our Youth Services Holiday party will take place the evening of December 12. Sponsors can provide the meal; crafts, games, or music and/or decorations.
