Position Summary
People’s Center is in need of volunteers to offer assistance in our Pediatrics Department.
This is an exciting opportunity to work directly in a health care setting, network with professional health care specialists and help improve the patient experience. Volunteers will observe and monitor children’s play activities; read, organize art projects, and play board games with children and organize toys and materials to ensure order in lobby area.
Minimum Requirements:
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excelled decision-making skills.
- Instructional skills.
- Experience working with children (babysitter, nanny, childcare center worker/volunteer).
Time Commitment:
- 3-5 hours per week
- Monday-Friday
