Position Summary
Work closely with our Clinical Quality Team to ensure that our patients are receiving the care that they need. The Intern will help patients navigate community and healthcare services, follow up with patients on the phone about their healthcare home plans, assist with health education and more. Fluency in Somali and Oromo preferred.
This is an exciting opportunity to work directly in a health care setting, network with professional health care specialists and develop skills needed to pursue your health care career while learning the fundamental mission, structure and operation of Peoples’ Center Health Services.
Minimum Requirements:
- Fluency in Somali and Oromo preferred
- Comfortable working directly with patients.
- Comfortable making phone calls.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to work independently.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
Time Commitment:
- 10-20 hours per week
- Monday-Friday
