This is First Step Early Childhood Education Center's largest graduation ceremony ever! We have 5 girls graduating from our preschool class before they head off to Kindergarden. We also have another 4 former preschool program participants coming back to join us in the celebration. These young children will be performing the songs they learned with their teachers this year for all their family and friends.
We expect around 50 people to attend this event, which is on Thursday August 23rd in the evening. Volunteers must arrive for set up between 4:30 and 5 and are expected to stay until 7:15 or 7:30.
FamilyWise needs volunteers to help us decorate for graduation, arrange the large classroom for our guests, pick-up and prepare a light dinner, cut and serve cake, and clean up after the social.
Last year's volunteers donated hot dogs, and this year we'd love to have the same, otherwise we will order Little Caesar's pizzas. Maybe you or someone you know are willing to donate a cake for 50? The child graduates would love it!!
