Presbyterian Homes and Services Hospice program (Optage Hospice) would love for you and your furbaby to come once a week or every other week for 30 min. - 2 hours and visit hospice patient(s) at your local Presbyterian Homes location.
Does your furbaby (cat, dog, bird etc.) love to visit with people? Do they not jump up, not react to loud noises and are able to listen to commands and provide people with love? If you answered yes to all three questions you and your pet are more than likely a good fit as a hospice companion. Animals do not need to be certified therapy animals to help bless our patients as a pet visitor.
