This event, hosted by HandsOn Twin Cities, combines HAPPY HOUR and COMMUNITY SERVICE. We are excited to offer this elevated experience combining traditional social ingredients (food and beverages) with a twist - volunteering.
From 4:30 - 6 pm on Thursday, May 24 join us at Tin Whiskers Brewery (125th E 9th St. Unit 127, Saint Paul, MN 55101). Grab a brew, meet some new friends and roll up your sleeves.
We will be assembling grab and go packs for the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge. Each Hope Lodge offers cancer patients and their caregivers a free place to stay when their best hope for effective treatment may be in another city. Not having to worry about where to stay or how to pay for lodging allows guests to focus on getting better. Hope Lodge provides a nurturing, home-like environment where guests can retreat to private rooms or connect with others.
Light snacks will be provided! Register for your slot before they fill up and tell your friends!
