It’s Tapping Time! Saturday, March 23 and Sunday, March 24
Where: Harriet Alexander Nature Center, 2520 North Dale St, Roseville
What: Come along as volunteers tap maple trees, collect sap and boil it to make delicious maple syrup. Learn about traditional syruping methods, listen to Native American stories, and taste maple treats.
When: Volunteers are on hand to collect and cook the sap and explain the whole process, Saturday, March 24 and Sunday, March 25.
Volunteer Opportunities: We need four volunteers at all times throughout the festival to assist with kid activities and in the kitchen. We have volunteer needs inside and out. Volunteer shifts are 9:00 am to 1:00 pm and 1:00 pm to 5:00 pm. Enjoy maple popcorn while you volunteer!
