OAK (Opportunities Around Learning) at Oak View Elementary offers all students the opportunity to participate in enrichment programs offered during their recess period.
Volunteers are the basis for this program. Do you, or someone you know have something to share with our students during our three (3) recesses (11:45 to 1:15)? Listed below are activities our students are interested in. We are looking for volunteers willing to share their talents or guide a pre-planned activity. Opportunities are available to do once, do it every other week, or weekly.
Clay projects (Oak View has a kiln)
Board games
Science
Photography
Cookie decorating
Yoga
Gym games
Spanish or another language
Escape Rooms
Circuit training in the gym
Multicultural art or project
Art
Coding
Computer Lab
All supplies provided. We are also interested in any "talent" you may have to share!
